Oscar 2025, Vermiglio è nella shortlist dei 15 migliori film stranieri

L’Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences ha annunciato le short list in 10 categorie per la cerimonia degli Oscar del 2024. “Emilia Pérez” ha ottenuto sei menzioni in totale, tra cui trucco, suono, colonna sonora originale, film internazionale e due per la canzone originale (“El Mal” e “Mi Camino”). Il musical è seguito da “Wicked”, che ha ottenuto quattro menzioni.

Vermiglio diretto da Maura Delpero è nella shortlist annunciata dall’Academy: la pellicola prosegue il cammino verso la candidatura agli Oscar 2025 nella categoria Miglior film internazionale. Dopo la nomination ai Golden Globes 2025, è tra i 15 film stranieri che sono ancora in gara per essere selezionati.

Le categorie in cui si svolge la votazione preliminare sono cortometraggio d’animazione, documentario, cortometraggio documentario, film internazionale, cortometraggio live-action, trucco e acconciatura, colonna sonora originale, canzone originale, suono ed effetti visivi.

La votazione per determinare le nomination nelle 23 categorie si aprirà mercoledì 8 gennaio e si concluderà domenica 12 gennaio. Le nomination saranno annunciate venerdì 17 gennaio.
