Asian Film Awards 2024 vince ‘Il male non esiste’

Il male non esiste di Hamaguchi Ryusuke è il miglior film agli Asian Film Awards. 

Miglior regista è KORE-EDA Hirokazu per Monster (Japan).

La 17esima edizione dei premi si è tenuta presso lo Xiqu Centre.

“Il male non esiste” e il blockbuster coreano “12.12: The Day” avevano dominato le nomination (sei ciascuno), comprese quelle nella categoria miglior film. Nessun titolo ha raccolto più di due premi.

Ampia la partecipazione dei registi e dell’industria cinematografica. Tra gli altri Lee Yong Kwan , Tom Yoda, i responsabili del festival di Udine Sabrina Baracetti e Thomas Bertacche, Anthony Chen, Stanley Kwan, Rina Damayanti, il distributore di Hong Kong Winnie Tsang, Andrew Lau, Mabel Cheung.

La superstar cinese Fan Bingbing ha fatto un’apparizione a sorpresa sul palco per consegnare il premio come miglior attore a Yakusho Koji, che ha vinto lo stesso premio a Cannes per “Perfect Days” diretto da Wim Wenders.

Gli AFA hanno dato il via a un mese di frenetica attività cinematografica a Hong Kong. Hanno preceduto il FilMart di Hong Kong, il più grande mercato di diritti cinematografici in Asia, e il mercato dei progetti cinematografici HAF.

Alla fine del mese entrerà in azione l’Hong Kong International Film Festival.
