Oscar 2024: le previsioni e le soprese per quest’anno
Variety ha svelato le sue previsioni per quanto riguarda le nomination di questi Oscar 2024, a cura del senior awards editor Clayton Davis e aggiornate il 18 gennaio.
Innanzitutto, si prevede che quattro film riceveranno a testa almeno 10 nomination: Barbie (11), Killers of the Flower Moon (10), Oppenheimer (13) e Poor Things (9-10).
Sarebbe solo la seconda volta che così tanti film superano le due nomination. Successe nel 2020 con The Irishman, Joker, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood e 1917. Con grande sorpresa, persero tutti contro Parasite nella categoria Miglior Film. Gli Oscar, infatti, sono pieni di sorprese. Cosa dobbiamo aspettarci quest’anno?
Variety sostiene che The Holdovers potrebbe ricevere buone notizie, dal momento che i suoi attori Paul Giamatti e Da’Vine Joy Randolph stanno guadagnando piacevoli attenzioni.
Saltburn potrebbe stuzzicare l’Academy, soprattutto nella categoria di Miglior sceneggiatura, grazie al cinico ritratto di Emerald Fennel.
Invece, per quanto il biopic Maestro sia stato ben accolto, molti hanno visto in Bradley Cooper, che è attore, regista, produttore e sceneggiatore del film, una certa vanità che ha fatto storcere il naso.
Infine Variety prevede le seguenti nomination per le case di produzione:
- 21 per Netflix
- 14 per Universal Pictures
- 14 per Apple Original Films
- 11 per Searchlight Pictures and Warner Bros
