Oscar 2024 annunciate le 10 shortilist per i prossimi Oscar: Garrone in corsa

L’Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences ha annunciato le shortlist in 10 categorie per la prossima 96esima cerimonia degli Oscar.

l’Italia è ancora in corsa con Io capitano di Matteo Garrone, selezionato tra i titoli per la statuetta di miglior film internazionale. Il film è stato già premiato alla Mostra del cinema di Venezia per la miglior regia ed è entrato tra i sei film candidati ai Golden Globe nella categoria Miglior film non in inglese.

Vediamo  se entrerà ora nella cinquina finale delle nomination agli Oscar che saranno annunciate il 23 gennaio.

Non mancano i quattro film quasi sicuri della nomination finale: il finlandese Foglie Al Vento (Fallen Leaves) di Aki Kaurismaki, il ‘giapponese’ Perfect Days di Wim Wenders, La passion de Dodin Bouffant di Tran Anh Hung e il favorito La zona d’interesse (The Zone of Interest) dell’inglese Jonathan Glazer.  Garrone se la vedrà con The Monk And The Gun, film del Bhutan presentato alla Festa del Cinema di Roma o con La società della neve di J.A. Bayona.

Il periodo di votazione per le vere e proprie nomination agli Oscar andrà dall’11 al 16 gennaio 2024, con i candidati ufficiali nominati il 23 gennaio.
